The Pyramid of Information and Filters of Biased Egos, 2019
The pyramid of circuits is a model for transmitting information. At the bottom is a vortex of uncensored, free-flowing raw data. As the information moves up through the pyramid, it passes through censorship filters, which are based on various biases including the ego, committees, groups, or individuals. At the top of the pyramid is the individual's reflective consciousness, which is built on biased information from the system. This individual may believe the information they receive is unbiased, but in reality, the censorship algorithms have already distorted the raw data. Even bots, which are thought of as impartial, are actually influenced by human biases. This creates a dangerous situation for a free thinking civilization as the pyramid of information and its biased filters limit access to objective truth.
